Art Without Permission
Pens N’ Brushes started in 2017 with an idea: art doesn’t need a gallery, a critique panel, or anyone’s approval to count. It just needs people willing to show up and make something.
That idea turned into a life drawing session that people kept coming back to, then into a community, and now into this: a space for art and lifestyle stories, built by people who’d rather be in the room than talking about the room. We publish the interviews, the studio visits, the honest takes on process that most art media skips over, alongside the events that started it all.
We’re not a portfolio site and we’re not a gallery. We’re a place for the in-between: the sketch that isn’t finished, the artist who hasn’t been “discovered,” the person who’s curious but has never picked up a pencil since grade school. All of it belongs here.
